This is a place to list and share prayer requests as a YG (parents and others are more than welcome too:). Requests will be listed under "comments." Gateway Woods... The house parents there, the kids, the administration, the Leo church that serves so many of these struggling kids, the volunteer program, that God would provide for that and start preparing hearts, including mine, for the summer ahead.
I am sure most of you have already heard, but the students at Northern are in need of your prayers. A gunman killed 4 students and injured several others before killing himself. Pray for the families of the victims, the friends of the victims, the other students at Northern, and so on. I am sure this will be a shake up, even to us, as it is an university close to home. Lets praise God for keeping safe thus far, and also pray for his protection at ISU.
Cuba and its Government and its people Let us take time in the weeks to come that we can pray for the Cuban people and government as recently Castro has stepped down after a 49 year reign of Communist power. Let us pray that God can enter into that Island and reform actions and hearts of the Leaders in power.
Belief..... that God does hear and cares about every word that we utter in prayer.
A little encouragement for those of us who struggle with this belief...

God to raise up Christian leaders and strong two parent homes for children to grow up in.

Please pray for our campus. For protection and also that the light of Christ could be brought to it. Please pray as you walk to class.
